Cruisin Mexico…

So over Spring Break, we were given an amazing opportunity to take the kids (Landen stayed home) on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera! We loaded the “Star” on Saturday the 12th only to remain on the ship until the following Saturday! This was our first time on a cruise so we had no idea what to expect! All I can say is our room was AMAZING and we had our very own “Butler” (didn’t even know what a Butler did until now)!

Saturday
Got on boat

Madison and mom went to juggling show/magic show

Sunday
Braden and Dad woke up at 11.
Kids club
Mom and Madison window shopped
Lunch
Took a nap
Madison and dad bought watch
Kids club
Hit the gym
Golfed
Erica and Cody watched kids while mom and dad went to Versailles

Monday
Went swimming at big pool with water slides
Tendered to Cabo and saw a bunch o seals
Went to Cabo and took a tour with Raul
Kicked it at beach w/Olsens
Shops came to us at the beach (Peyton loved this and learned to barter a little)
Showered and took boys to kids club
Mom, dad, madison and peyton ate dinner at Versailles
Dropped Peyton off at kids club, picked up boys
Watched Monsters vs Aliens

Tuesday
Waffles outside
Koen slept till 10:30
Went to Cabo. Kicked it at beach
Mom finally got wet other than shower
Made a couch in the sand.
Boys karate fought waves
Peyton sun bathed
Mom thought we were going to sink on boat ride back
Showered kids and ordered room service
Kids club
Dinner at Aqua
Waited for pirates parade
Watched pirates parade
Picked up girls from kids club to go to show
Dad bailed early to get the boys
Picked up boys from kids club
Watched part of Happy Feet till all the kids crashed
Slept peacefully

Wednesday
Woke up at Puerto Vallarta
Ate waffles on the deck
Got off boat
Walked to street to hail a taxi
Mom a little nervous, dad lovin it
Took taxi to la playa Los Muertos and we bought a day pass at Los Arcos
It came with a food and drink credit and we could swim in their pools
Kids not interested in beach so we stayed in pools
Taxi picked us up and we almost got in a wreck on the way back
Mom and girls went shopping (Peyton became a little girls instant best friend)
Dad and boys went swimming
Girls finished shopping and went swimming
Headed back to room to shower and watch Happy Feet
Headed to dinner at Aqua with everyone but is wasn’t open yet so we played in the elevators while mom tried to find us.
Ate at Aqua and then peyton went to kids club and maddie and boys went to room and watched How to Train Your Dragon
Maddie joined Peyton at kids club and boys went to bed

Thursday
Headin back to LA
Super cold out side
Kids Club
Magic Show
Food, ice cream, food, ice cream…
“Extreme Vegas” (show with magic and illusions)
Sleep

Friday
Happy Birthday Maddie
Waffles in bed
Swimming (mom watched while in sweats, tennis shoes and drinking hot chocolate)
Freezing cold outside
Missing Landen
Family Pizza Making
Surprised Maddie w/decorated room
Ate at Aqua for Maddie’s birthday dinner

Camera BROKE (go figure, right when mom wanted a birthday pic w/Maddie and cake)
Kids went to Kids club for pillow fight and t-shirt signing
Mom and dad went to “Elements” (dad is NOT a show kind of guy)
Packed to leave the next day

Saturday

Disembarked in LA
Left LA around 9:30am
Off to get Landen

We had such an amazing time together (don’t get me wrong we had our moments and lost Braden TWICE) and were amazed at how much we “GREW” as a family (I will be completely honest I was impressed by how much food people can eat)! So thankful to be back home with our little Landen (Who has now turned into a puppy! He whimpers like a little puppy dog when he needs something or someone!) and so grateful to all the amazing “mommies” who cared for him while away!
